Fully produced by Kohei Nagao from the YouTube channel "Solitary Slow Jigging", this pilot jig was designed with the concept of becoming the new standard in amberjack slow jigging — and more importantly, to entice even the most cunning 10kg+ amberjack into biting.

It was built to perform in 90% of sea conditions, even under changing weather and tidal flows. Particular focus was placed on the following three elements:

①Excellent water flow and resistance during jerking

②Honest, responsive action to angler input

③A natural movement that compels even wary, seasoned amberjack to strike

Pursuing these qualities led to the creation of the Maverick — a jig that can trigger a bite from a battle-hardened 10kg-class amberjack.
